Coursedate October Release - Course Expiry Dates, Better Sorting and Improved Course Booking Page
The latest release of Coursedate includes:
1. Course expiry dates.
You can now optionally add an expiry date to a course. Many training providers run courses that are valid for a fixed period. Delegates who complete the course might be certified for a fixed period at the end of which they have to renew - usually by completing the course again.
The new expiry date feature means you can sort courses by expiry date and find the delegates who completed the course. It makes it much easier to find delegates and organisations before reminding them to book the course again.
2. Improved sorting on large Tables
Courses, Bookings and Enquiries can now be sorted in different ways. Quickly find different sets of records. For example, you can sort Enquiries by ‘Type’ and see all requests to join the waiting list for a particular course.
3. Improvements to the Bookings page.
The layout of the course bookings page has been improved - multiple delegates on the same booking are grouped together and the ‘Total Fee’ shows the total for the booking, not each individual delegate. That prepares the ground for future enhancements around payments.
What’s coming next? We’re working on a great new calendar feature for course admins. You’ll be able to view courses by month, week and day. It’ll be a very quick way to understand tutor availability, see bookings by day and bookings by venue.
Here’s a sneak peek of the calendar page in development:
We usually make monthly incremental improvements to Coursedate, often in response to customer feedback. We like the monthly release approach to product development - new features are immediately useful and the high level of customer engagement means Coursedate remains very focused on the requirements of busy training and course providers.
