Coursedate March 2025 Release - Course Booking Portals
The big new feature in this month’s Coursedate release is course booking portals - Coursedate clients can now have a more standalone course booking portal on its own subdomain and with configurable styling to match their website look and feel.
The bespoke branding - you set the styles to match your website - is the big benefit of a Coursedate course booking portal. Training companies can further leverage the strength of their own branding to sell more courses while enjoying all the benefits of Coursedate’s course booking and training management functionality.
The course booking portal includes:
- A main courses page. Courses can be filtered by your custom course categories.
- A course schedule page - see all course instances in data order. Again course instances can be filtered.
- The course overview page - includes a ‘View all Dates’ option and information about available places.
- Our standard course booking form - allows multiple delegates per booking.
- Our standard course enquiry form - easy to use, all enquiries are logged in Coursedate.
All of the above pages can be styled with your own branding.
You set the branding in ‘Settings’ in your Coursedate admin area. You can upload your company logo, set the header bar colour, button colours and other styles. Configuration is really easy and a handy preview pane shows you what your chosen styles will look like before they are saved.
Another key difference with the course booking portal is that you get your own subdomain, instead of a path based url.
So you get my-training.coursedate.com instead of coursedate.com/my-training
Subdomains should give Coursedate clients a stronger sense of ownership and personalization. Their course booking portal feels more like "your own site" rather than just a section of the main Coursedate site.
Configuration is super easy and with a little effort you can create a great showcase for your courses that will sit alongside your existing website and give your visitors a more joined up experience when they move between your website and your course booking portal.
