Coursedate’s new learner area includes a CPD friendly timeline view of previous courses

  in  Course Booking Systems

When you log into Coursedate as a learner - someone who has booked on a course or made an enquiry about a course - you see the new redesigned learner homepage.

Learners see upcoming courses and any enquiries they’ve made. They also see a timeline view of past activity - courses they’ve completed.

We wanted to make the timeline more useful for learners who use Coursedate as part of their continuing professional development (CPD) activity. Learners can add entries to the timeline - small notes professional development. These could be reflections, career goals or feedback from colleagues.

Learners who belong to an employer organisation see an organisation branded view of the timeline. We’ve worked with the Avanti Institute, the professional development team in the Avanti Schools Trust, to polish the design and refine functionality.

We’ll make further improvements to the learner area in Coursedate in the coming months. Coursedate is a good solution for organisations that design and deliver CPD programmes for employees. It works particularly well for organisations - like school multi academy trusts - that may deliver structured CPD courses for both their own staff and colleagues in external organisations.
